Strong season sees Boshoff hold off Cornofsky, Billau, and Frade in competitive field
Red Star Raceway, South Africa — The 2025 South African National ROK Karting Championship in the Mini ROK class came to a close with Max Boshoff emerging as champion after a season of consistently strong performances. Boshoff finished on 418 points, securing the crown at the National Final with a dominant showing that underlined his pace and composure under pressure.
The fight behind him was closely contested. Kayde Cornofsky finished runner-up on 381 points, just two points clear of Logan Billau on 379. Santiago Frade was right in the mix as well, ending just one point further back on 378. With only three points separating second through fourth, the Mini ROK standings highlighted the depth of competition throughout the season.
Fifth place went to Zac Boshoff on 362 points, with Kiyaan Reddi claiming sixth on 310. Diego Berardone wrapped up his campaign in seventh with 254 points, while Ronald Venter (177) and Diego Antunes (162) rounded out the top nine.
The Mini ROK grid produced some of the most competitive racing of 2025, with multiple drivers able to challenge for heat wins and podiums across different circuits. The class consistently delivered close battles and unpredictable outcomes, showcasing the development of South Africa’s next wave of karting talent.
With Boshoff crowned champion and his closest rivals pushing him all the way, the 2025 Mini ROK season will be remembered for its intensity and for the emergence of several drivers ready to take the next step in their racing journeys.
