The ROK Cup races take place throughout the year: approximately from February to October. The races are divided into categories, each using a specific engine model. Each category also has age limits: Cadet from 5 - 8 years, Kid Rok, from 7-10 years, Mini ROK, from 8 - 13 years, OK-J, from 11 to 13 years. OK-N +14 years. KZ2, from +15 years if the weight of the driver with helmet and suit is equal to or greater than 85 kg.
To register for a single race the price varies. There is no fixed fee, because registration is subject to some variables such as, for example, tire disposal, the category of track in which it takes place.
The category for the little ones is the Cadet, in which drivers from 5 years of age up to 8 years of age can participate.

For ROK Cup South Africa, if the number of drivers does not exceed the capacity of the track, the procedure includes: free practice, qualifying practice, race-1, race-2 and race-3 except with the final National round that includes an extra race-4. The race 1 lineup is determined by the result of the qualifier. Then the lineup is determined by the race times by the competitors.
The tests can take place in a single day or over several days, depending on what the Special Regulations of each individual ROK Cup Brand Trophy test provide. Based on the number of registered drivers, it is possible that some classes with similar characteristics will be merged by running together (while maintaining separate rankings for the individual categories).
